It is based on a true story. Elizabeth Gilbert, thirty-one years old, already has everything a husband, house and successful career as a writer but she is unhappy with her life. In order to search for some answers and satisfy her curiousity she takes a big decision and leaves everything behind (her marriage, husband, beautiful house). She begins a long journey in Italy (say it like you eat it – the pursuit of pleasure), India (get closer to God- a devotion), and Indonesia – Bali (a balance between worldly enjoyment and divine transcendence) where she finds her love and life….
